This painting just won the "Alden Bryan Memorial Award for Traditional Landscape" at the 2009 Salmagundi Club Members Exhibition. This is the Clubs main exhibition and the top prize for member artists. After receiving the "Purchase Award" also at the ThumbBox Show two years ago I guess this is hard to top. I will always be indebted to the Club for helping to move me along and keep inspiring me to grow.
