This painting won the "Alex Katlan Family Award for a Snowscape in Oil" at the 2010 Salmagundi Club Thumb-Box Exhibition". It features a view looking north from the Clubs steps which is a favorite among club artists. Collecting award winning paintings like this is special since they come with documentation from a highly regarded art club like the Salmagundi and the award is special to me because it comes from my peers.
